Japanese Society of Hematology (JSH)

The Japanese Society of Hematology (JSH)  was founded in 1937. The Society takes pride in being the second oldest hematological society in the world, next to the French Society of Hematology.

Total number of active registered members is 7000. Twenty-one subcommittees exist in the Society including general affairs, international, finance, education and clinical studies. Total number of attendance to these meetings are 7000. The Japanese Society of Hematology holds an annual general meeting and an international symposium every year and also publishes the International Journal of Hematology (IJH). The Society is also involved in training specialists.
